Alessia Cara (born July 11, 1996), is a Canadian singer and songwriter. After producing acoustic covers, she signed with EP Entertainment & Def Jam Recordings and released her debut single, “Here”. She also recorded the song for the Disney soundtrack Moana. Cara received her first Grammy Award in 2018, for Best New Artist.
