Bastille is a British rock band formed in 2010 by singer / songwriter Dan Smith. The bands first single “Overjoyed” was released in April 2012 and their first album “Bad Blood” was released in March 2013 where it topped the UK Album Charts. The single “Pompeii” became the band’s breakthrough hit, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart and the eleventh best selling song that year.
2018 saw the band collaborate with Marshmello on the single, “Happier” which reached No 2. in the UK singles chart.
Bastille have won several music awards and landed many nominations, including ones for Brit Awards, Billboard Music Awards, World Music Awards, and Grammy Awards.
