Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood came to fame as the Winner of the Fourth Series of a TV show called American Idol in 2008. She is a Country music singer, songwriter and actress who in less than 10 years,  has sold 65 million records worldwide, scored 20 number 1 singles, and achieved nearly 100 major accolades, including seven Grammy Awards. She has co-hosted the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley, graces many magazine covers, appears on TV with the likes of Oprah Winfrey and has been inducted into the Grand Old Opry.

Some of her acting appearances include: Maria von Trapp in NBC’s live broadcast of The Sound of Music and she made her film debut in Soul Surfer in April 2011 playing Sarah Hill, the church youth leader.
