Maren Morris is an American country music singer, songwriter and producer. At a young age she would sing LeAnn Rimes and Patsy Cline at her parents’ parties and her writing skills began with stories and poems in school and blossomed into lyrics when her father bought her a guitar at age twelve.
Maren Morris has released several studio albums and her 2015 EP, Maren Morris, charted on two Billboard charts. Her major debut album, Hero, reached number five on the Billboard 200 chart and number one on the Top Country Albums chart.
Her debut single, “My Church”, hit number one on the Country Digital Songs chart in 2016 and reached the top five on the US Hot Country Songs chart.
Morris has been awarded CMA New Artist of the Year and was nominated for four awards, including Best New Artist and the single “My Church” won the award for Best Country Solo Performance.
