The Weeknd (pronounced “the weekend”) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer who first came to popularity as a YouTube star in 2010. His debut studio album was released in 2013 and was followed a couple of years later by the album Beauty Behind The Madness from which hit songs like “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face” were released.
The Weeknd has won two Grammy Awards and has been nominated for an Academy Award. In September 2016, the release of the third album, Starboy was announced and the the title track reached high on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart and number 1 on the Official Trending Chart UK.
