Yeah Yeah Yeahs Backing Tracks – Gold Lion … Maps … Sacrilege …Zero

Yeah Yeah Yeahs is an American indie rock band formed in New York City in 2000. The group is composed of vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs ballad “Maps” from the album Fever To Tell became a hit in 2004 followed by “Gold Lion” later on in the decade.

The band toured throughout Europe and the United States during much of 2006 to much acclaim.

Alongside performing headlining tours across the world, the band has supported artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Björk.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been cited as an influence on much of the modern indie rock and post-punk revival of the early 2000s, and have become one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the decade. They have been nominated for multiple awards, including four Grammy nominations. They have also appeared in multiple films and television shows, including The O.C., Where the Wild Things Are, and Saturday Night Live.

In 2014 the band went on a long term break but returned in 2018. They released a new album in 2022.
