Lets continue warming up your voice with this octave exercise.
We are going to start with some vowel sounds, but using the consonant L to help you along:
Gently sing- la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, (keychange)
Again la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
Now lets making a little more interesting for you. We’re going to change the vowel sounds
Leh, leh, leh, leh, leh, leh, leh, leh,leh
Law, law, law, law, law, law, law, law, law,
Lee, lee, lee, lee, lee, lee, lee, lee, lee
Loo, loo, loo, loo, loo, loo, loo, loo, loo
and repeat as the scale gets higherUse the play button to hear the track, or alternatively you can purchase the track to use on your computer, ipod etc
As you get more confident with this exercise, you could try dropping the consonant and do the exercise just on the vowel sound:
Ah, Eh, Aw, Ee, Oo (one sound for each keychange)
