Youngbloods Backing Tracks – Get Together

The Youngbloods were an American rock band consisting of Jesse Colin Young (vocals, bass), Jerry Corbitt (guitar), Lowell Levinger, nicknamed “Banana” (guitar and electric piano), and Joe Bauer (drums). Despite receiving critical acclaim, they never achieved widespread popularity. Their only U.S. Top 40 entry was “Get Together”.

Throughout the 1970s, Jesse Colin Young released eight solo albums and collaborated with other musicians, including Bonnie Raitt and The New Riders of the Purple Sage. In 1975, he released his biggest hit single, “On The Road”.

The Youngbloods have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2005, they were honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Francisco chapter of the Recording Academy.
